How We Started

Rhythms Dance opened its doors in 2005 with Jennifer Eleazer’s passion to bring the joy of dance to children in Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina. That joy was shared with Ballet Teacher Ms. Candace Elmore, who took over the studio in 2023 and hopes to continue fostering an environment of light and love in the studio and community.

From the beginning, Rhythms has created a Faith-filled atmosphere that nourishes body, soul, and spirit. The studio is located in Duncan just a mile south of Interstate I-85.

Who We Serve

Rhythms Dance serves students of all ages, from 20 months through Adults who come from Greenville, Greer, Taylors, Duncan, Moore, Spartanburg, Wellford and several other towns along the I-85 corridor in Upstate South Carolina.

Our daughter has taken dance from Mrs. Jennifer & Rhythm’s Dance now for over 6 years. We have thoroughly enjoyed being part of a studio that lives its motto of “Faith, Family, & Friends.” The instructors are caring and help to develop the dancer to their fullest potential. Our child has developed into a more confident dancer and has enjoyed learning techniques while having fun and participating in dance at the competition level. The studio includes the whole family of the dancer- Mom, Dad, Grandparents, Siblings and other family members so the Everyone feels included. We feel blessed to be a part of the Rhythm’s dance studio family.

2016 will be our daughter’s 10th year dancing with Rhythms.  Some might think that is a lot to invest in a “hobby.”  It is more than that.  Our daughter has a great work ethic, developed social skills, and has a grasp of the teamwork concept.  Our family’s investment with Rhythms has provided our daughter with pride in accomplishment, physical activity, and confidence.  We look forward to many more years to come with Rhythms!

Our Team

Our instructors have perfected their skills under nationally and internationally acclaimed dance masters and offer a variety of steps and styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, hip hop, musical theater, jazz funk, contemporary and lyrical.
